With the SkyStar USB 2 HD CI you will experience television in a new dimension.

In addition to the TV and radio programmes of conventional television with SkyStar USB 2 HD CI you will also receive the brilliant image and sound worlds of new high-resolution television (HDTV).
HDTV offers television enjoyment in a hitherto unheard of quality. The crystal-clear pictures are more rich in detail, the colours are lusher and the contours sharper. The sound quality is excellent and impresses with its excellent, room-filling resonance.

Equipment
Included in the first-class equipment of the SkyStar USB 2 HD CI are, amongst other features, the timeshift function with which time-delayed viewing is possible, the free-of-charge programme information service "SiehFern INFO" which programme previews for up to seven days can be accessed and the videotext function which provides access to all important news items at any time of day.

Common Interface (CI)
And finally you are provided with a CI fitting slot with which ? when using the appropriate CI module ? it is possible to receive encrypted programmes.
